What a Week....

Sunday, June 19, 2005: Michael Jackson was found not guilty on all counts. I think if they mom had been more credible, he would have been found guilty. Too bad for the boy, because if it is true, then because of his mom and her trying to scam other celebrities, he has to deal with this for the rest of his life. I know what it's like to be molested. My uncle molested me for years. Actually, two uncles did, but one of them only did it once. We moved to a different state and I was three or four when I told my mom. She didn't believe me! So, when we moved back to the state he lived it, the molesting continued. It stopped around the time I hit puberty and it is something that I have not discussed since telling my mom 31 years ago.

Next psycho peepers, runaway bride, Jennifer Wilbanks, sold her story. Hopefully the county will go after her for all of the money she cost, while they hunted for her. I believe she has already said she was only paying back the $13,000 that she has already given them. Now that she made $500,000 for selling the rights, she should have to pay it all back. Why anyone cares about this story is beyond me. She had her 15 minutes of 'fame' let it die already.

Lastly Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got engaged. Again, does anyone care? I've never really been a Tom Cruise fan. Once he said that Brooke Shields could have cured postpartum depression "with a few vitamins" that sealed the deal for me. When did he go to medical school? I'm all for freedom of religion, however, I don't cram my views down other people's throats and don't think celebrities should either.

Happy Father's Day! I've never met my own father, and he died 5 years ago. Since M and I aren't together anymore, C didn't get to see him today. B did call her father, but he didn't answer, so she had to leave a message. Hope all of the dads out there had a great day, celebrating with their children.
